Terms of Service
NOTE: All commissions are handled through VGen or Commissions.gg only.
GENERAL• You must be at least 18 years old to commission me.
• All artwork will be created in my art style based on the descriptions and references you provide.
• Please provide visual references for all characters. I do not currently offer character design commissions.
• I specialise in environment-focused illustrations. I’m most comfortable creating immersive scenes where characters are integrated into the environment rather than being the main focus. I am flexible and can adjust the level of character detail based on your request and the needs of the artwork.
• I reserve the right to decline any commission request if I am uncomfortable with the content or if it exceeds my current capabilities.
CONTENT GUIDELINES• I will only draw existing characters, OCs, or sonas in my art style based on visual references.
• Alternate outfits, accessories, or props are welcome as long as references or mood boards are provided.What I will not draw:
• NSFW, explicit, sexual or fetish-related content
• Overtly romantic, intimate or suggestive interactions, even if SFW (Okay with platonic interactions, friendships, or couples with light, wholesome dynamics)
• Extreme graphic violence or heavy gore
• Highly realistic mechanical designs, complex machinery, or technical/mecha subjects
• Real-life people
• Anthropomorphic (“anthro”) or furry characters (Okay with fantasy creatures, monsters, and characters with minor animal traits)
• Hateful, offensive, controversial, or illegal themesNot Sure? Please Ask First
If your idea falls into a grey area or you’d simply like to discuss it first, feel free to message me before submitting a request.
PAYMENTS & REFUNDS• Payment must be made upfront and processed exclusively through VGen / commissions.gg.
• For larger commissions, I may offer a payment plan on a case-by-case basis. This must be discussed and agreed upon before the commission is accepted.
• No full or partial refunds will be issued once work on the commission has begun.
• Refunds will be provided if I am unable to complete the commission due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., health issues or emergencies).
REVISIONS• Please include all important details and requirements in the request form. I evaluate each commission based on the information provided. Major additions shared after I’ve accepted the commission will be treated as additional scope and may incur extra charges and additional time depending on the complexity.
• You may request up to 2 revisions during the initial sketch/concept development phase, where the overall composition, pose, and layout are finalised. This does not apply to Surprise Me/Skeb-style commissions.
• Once the sketch/concept is approved, major changes (e.g., pose changes, adding elements that were not discussed earlier, or reworking the overall composition) will not be accommodated.
• After the artwork is fully rendered, 1 round of minor revisions is included for small adjustments such as correcting small details, minor colour tweaks, or fixing any mistakes. Requests requiring significant changes to the approved composition or pose cannot be accommodated at this stage.
• For Surprise Me/Skeb-style commission, no WIP will be provided. Only 1 round of minor corrections for mistakes or omissions is included before the final delivery.
• Additional revisions beyond the agreed limit may be declined or incur an extra fee, depending on the scope of the changes.
• Please provide clear and specific instructions and timely feedback during the WIP phase to avoid delays or misunderstandings.
• If no specific description is provided, I may proceed based on my interpretation.
• If I do not receive a response to a WIP or revision request within 7 days, I may proceed with the artwork based on my best judgment.
DEADLINES AND DELIVERY• Standard turnaround time is usually between 2 - 4 weeks.
• Turnaround time depends on the complexity of the piece, my current queue, and overall schedule. Artworks with a lot of heavy environmental details may require more time in general.
• If my commission queue is full, new requests may be placed on a waitlist. Once I have availability, the estimated delivery time will be adjusted based on the actual start date of the commission.
• If I anticipate needing additional time to complete a particularly complex commission or for other personal reasons, I will communicate this as early as possible.
• If you need the artwork by a specific date or deadline, please mention it in the request form, so I can decide whether it's possible.
• Rush orders may be considered for an additional fee, depending on my availability.
USELicense• All commissioned artwork is licensed for personal, non-commercial use by default. Examples include profile pictures, banners, personal wallpapers, and posting on personal social media with credit.
• You may also print the commissioned artwork for your personal use or as a one-time gift for someone else. However, resale, distribution, or commercial use is not permitted under the personal-use license.
• Commercial use for content (e.g. Twitch, YouTube, streaming assets, or other revenue-generating platforms) and merchandising (e.g. digital or physical products, branding, or products for sale) requires an additional fee and must be disclosed in the request form.
• Any intended use or project specification that falls outside the standard commission options must be discussed and agreed upon in advance. Additional fees may apply depending on the scope of the request and the rights required.

Restrictions• You may not claim the artwork as your own, nor may you trace, edit, or heavily modify it without my explicit permission.
• Unauthorised reproduction, resale, or redistribution is strictly prohibited, whether for profit or not.
• My artwork may not be used in any form for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) or for training artificial intelligence (AI) models.Attribution & Sharing• You are welcome to share the commissioned artwork on your social media. When sharing the artwork publicly, please provide credit to me as the artist.
• Upon delivery, you will receive both a full-quality version and a watermarked version of the artwork. The watermarked version is provided for your convenience when sharing the artwork.
• Personal-use commissions include a small, discreet signature placed in a non-intrusive area of the artwork. Please do not edit, remove, or obscure the signature.Source File• Source files (.psd) are not included with standard commissions by default.
• If you require a source file (e.g., for animation, rigging, or additional editing), the intended use must be disclosed in advance. Additional fees will apply based on the usage.
• Please note that purchasing a source file does not automatically grant commercial or redistribution rights, or permission to modify the artwork beyond the agreed purpose. Any additional usage must be discussed and approved beforehand.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS• The copyright of all commissioned artwork remains with Karasu, the artist.
• I retain the right to use completed works for self-promotional purposes, including portfolio, social media, and commission samples.
• If you prefer your commission not be publicly shared, a privacy fee will apply.
COMMUNICATION• If you have any questions before ordering, feel free to reach out to me. I’m happy to discuss in advance.
• I typically respond within 24 hours, but response times may vary slightly depending on my schedule.
• I prefer all commission-related communication to remain within VGen / commissions.gg whenever possible.
• If I do not receive communication for more than 7 days without notice, I may proceed using my best judgment and complete the commission based on the information available.
• I strive to maintain a respectful and professional working relationship. If any communication becomes rude, harmful, or inappropriate, I reserve the right to cancel the commission and decline future requests.
